Kazbah, Balmain

On Sunday, we went to Kazbah for lunch, a suprise lunch for Vikrant and Megha before they are going to India for their marriage :) Megha's suprised face is priceless :) It was such a busy day ... although we have booked; they couldn't give the table to us on time because people still sat. I went here before with my other friends and ordered non-vegetarian baquet; there were so much food. We couldn't finish all.

Everybody likes the food and because most of them are vegetarian; we ordered vegetarian baquet. This time, they run out most of the food; the amount of the food were not as many as when last time I came. The entree and dessert are same when you order vegetarian or non-vegetarian baquet; only the main menu are different. I still prefer my lamb tagine but the vegetarian tagine is not bad either.

Kazbah, Balmain

First time I tried the banquet menu in Kazbah, as always, the food were really good. There were so much food ... everybody was enjoying it but in the same time was struggling to finish all. You can only order baquet menu when you are 8 people or more. Always remember to make a reservation before you come to Kazbah because it's always busy especially on the weekend. There is a trick though, come after 2pm, maybe you can get seats straight away.

Out of Africa, Manly

Surprise bday dinner for Dewi :) The service of this restaurant is amazing, double thumbs up! We gave the birthday cake to the staff to bring it at the end of dinner. Instead of just taking out the cake as surprise for my friend, they put very nice candles and gave a birthday hat to my friend as well. It's awesome. Later, they cut the cake and served to us without any charges. We really had a great times. The food are good although a bit expensive. You must try Toblerone cocktail, very yummy ...

Kazbah, Balmain

Kazbah is one of my favourite place for brunch. The food is delicious ... the staff are friendly but sometimes could be allright when the place is getting very busy. The place is always crowded on the weekend. Make sure you make a booking before you come. Or come between 2 - 3pm when they are going to close for breakfast (yes, breakfast between 8am-3pm); usually there are a lot of empty seats. I always order Breakfast Tagine whenever I come there, beautiful food. Maybe the best Morrocan food I ever tried so far.
