Adriano Zumbo's Pâtisserie, Balmain

After finished having brunch at Café Chocolat; we went to Adriano Zumbo's Pâtisserie. Cakes looked so beautiful!!!! I wish I could stay there to take the pictures one by one. Apparently, they have different cakes everyday and sometimes there are "limited-edition" cakes. The cakes are slightly expensive compared to other Pâtisserie though. If I am not wrong ... one slice of cake is around $8-$20?

Adriano Zumbo’s Café Chocolat, Balmain

Finally I went to Adriano Zumbo’s Café Chocolat, after reading so many article about him and looking all those drooling cakes photos. There are always queue either at patiserrie or cafe. I was lucky enough to get seats straight away (there were 5 of us). I felt so excited looking at the menu and was confused which one I should order.

When the food came; the presentation was very beautiful but the taste was average. My friends couldn't even finish their food (probably too sweet). I will still come back to this place though because it's one of the best place to take food pictures.

PS: just checked the website recently, they have changed the whole menu. It's time to go there again :) -26 June 2010

Billu's, Parramatta

Billu's is my another favourite Indian restaurant in Sydney. Biryani and chats are really good. I went to Billu's with my colleagues for team lunch. It was really good.

Kazbah, Balmain

First time I tried the banquet menu in Kazbah, as always, the food were really good. There were so much food ... everybody was enjoying it but in the same time was struggling to finish all. You can only order baquet menu when you are 8 people or more. Always remember to make a reservation before you come to Kazbah because it's always busy especially on the weekend. There is a trick though, come after 2pm, maybe you can get seats straight away.
