New Shanghai, Chatswood

I was craving for dumplings since 3 weeks ago and finally I could go today. I have passed this restaurant few times and wanted to try because the interior is really nice. It's decorated with "old days China" theme. This restaurant is a branch from the original restaurant in Ashfield. The food is VERY good! You must come here for the dumplings but my favourite sour spicy soup was average. The best dumplings I tried so far in Sydney.

Digi.Kaf, Glebe

I was ready for my food mission but I was a bit confused to try new cafe Clover or Digi.Kaf (I have the discount voucher from Entertainment Book). I like the name, Digi.Kaf; it's very unique. I was a bit skeptical ... because usually the place which has discount voucher, the food won't be good. Eventually, I went to Digi.Kaf and the food was allright. My friend ordered and he said the mocha was average.

Driftwood, Narrabeen

Driftwood has the best banana strawberries smoothie in Sydney. It's very cosy cafe and located in front of beautiful beach in Narrabeen. There are always 2 reasons for me to come to this place. First, to visit my friends who live there and second, to drink banana strawberries smoothie.

I could drink 2 glasses of smoothie when I came here.

Driftwood breakfast

First time I ordered Driftwood breakfast because I usually ordered pancakes. It's fine but I will stick to pancakes next time :) I have sweet tooth, you see.

Temasek, Parramatta

I guess last week was Malaysian week, I went to another Malaysian restaurant for farewell lunch of my colleague. Temasek is somehow really famous and the queue could be very long and crazy if you didn't book in advance. The food is good but I found it's overated sometimes. Everybody loved the food; however, they found it's a bit weird that Nasi goreng (fried rice) is sweet :) I love sweet fried rice (similar with Indonesian one). Everybody was happy and satisied with their food.

Chendol with red beans only (I don't like chendol, green colour things), shouldn't call it chendol anymore I guess?

Sambal, Macquarie Park

My Malaysian friend told me that this is one of the best Malaysian Restaurant in Sydney. The head fish curry is awesome according to her. However, to order head fish curry, apparently, you need to order 2 days before?! The food was good but still can't compare with the ones in Malaysia and thumbs up for the service. The guy who served us was really nice. He mentioned that the size for nasi lemak would be too big for us for each person; he suggested to order the curries and rice separately. It's much much cheaper.

Rendang - I don't get it, why Rendang in Sydney is always like curry instead of Rendang? too much sauce

No 9, Potts Point

I have read a lot about this cafe and finally today I went with my friend for brunch. I always like going to Potts Point for brunch, somehow I feel like I am not in Sydney but somewhere in Europe. The service was good but the food were average. The pancakes that people always mentioned very good in their reviews are overated. I heard about stories that someone took over the management of this cafe; maybe that's the reason why the pancakes wasn't as good as in the review? This cafe is actually no 2 best breakfast place according to SMH. I must give A mark for the interior although I found the cafe size is a bit too small.

Na Zdrowie, Glebe

That was my first time trying Polish food and I found the food is similar with Russian. The service was really good; the girl was very friendly. The place is very nice as well although the food is average. Or maybe I am not supposed to give any judgement because I am not sure how the authentic Polish food really is :) However, the whole experience was awesome.
